Finance Automation Specialist

Roles and Responsibilities

• Designing automation workflows: Develop and implement automated processes for financial tasks such as invoicing, budgeting, and expense tracking to reduce manual effort.
• System integration: Integrate financial software with existing systems, ensuring seamless data flow and compatibility across platforms.
• Data analysis: Analyze financial data to identify inefficiencies, propose automation solutions, and improve decision-making processes.
• Process optimization: Continuously evaluate and enhance automated financial processes to align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with finance, IT, and operations teams to understand requirements and deliver tailored automation solutions.
• Tool implementation: Deploy and configure automation tools such as RPA (Robotic Process Automation) software, ERP systems, or custom scripts to streamline tasks.
• Testing and troubleshooting: Conduct rigorous testing of automation workflows to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with financial standards.
• Training and documentation: Create user guides and provide training to team members on new automation tools and processes.
• Compliance monitoring: Ensure all automated processes adhere to financial regulations, including GAAP, IFRS, or industry-specific standards.
• Reporting: Generate automated financial reports and dashboards to provide real-time insights for stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills

• Technical expertise: Proficiency in automation tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism, and familiarity with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
• Financial knowledge: Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance standards.
• Programming skills: Experience with scripting languages like Python, VBA, or SQL for developing automation scripts.
• Analytical mindset: Ability to analyze complex financial data and identify opportunities for automation.
• Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present solutions.
